THE Sabah DAP team was again on its CNY greeting round in Inanam town and the industry area here. They were warmly welcomed by the Inanam folks especially the bumiputra folks. Although this is a CNY celebration, but being Malaysian, we all share each other’s festive celebration. Edward Ewol Mujie, the Sabah DAP vice chairman, Jeffrey Kumin, the organizing secretary, accompanied by the Sabah state chairman Dr. Hiew King Cheu and other members made the walk-about in Inanam yesterday. There were complaints received regarding uncut grass, smelly and blocked drains, and roads needed repair. The general feeling of the people towards the government is that they all wanted to see a new government in Sabah and Malaysia happening soon. Some of these people even said that they cannot wait anymore, “enough with the BN”! Jeffrey Kumin urged all to work together to establish a new government for a better tomorrow and get out of hardship and poverty faced by the poor. The economy situation in Sabah is getting from bad to worst, and there is a wide spread of anger towards the government’s bad policies and mismanagement. He further said that if we want to see a better future, we should only choose and vote Pakatan Rakyat (PR). |
